When Water Brings the Hill Country to Life
One thing we’ve learned from years of building ponds and waterfalls around Austin and the Hill Country: the moment you add water, wildlife notices.
Recently, a raccoon wandered up to one of our waterfalls, drawn in by the sound and movement. We see the same with birds, butterflies, pollinators, even the occasional deer. A backyard water feature doesn’t just look beautiful—it acts as habitat.
Flowing water gives animals a safe place to drink and cool off, especially in the Texas heat. And the best part? Every pond or stream we install adds one more pocket of life to the Hill Country landscape, making backyards healthier and helping the environment on a bigger scale.
