We’re Surviving Summer – Sun Hats All Around!

We’re hard at work this summer, surviving the sun and heat with sun hats all around. Cypress managed to find the only bit of shade at this recent job site.

We do what we can to stay cool when we’re working outside making water feature magic happen in these hot Texas summer months.

Plunge Pool with Creative Freedom

This project took us outside of our usual Austin-Area, all the way to Waco. While we don’t usually do projects this far out, we found a wonderful client who gave us complete artistic freedom.

We first built a pond for them earlier this year, and they brought us back to add a natural plunge pool to their yard!

Built in five 12-hour days, it’s 12×20 with a 6×4, 4′ deep basin, and includes seating ledges and stone steps for easy in-and-out access, right off their patio.

We can’t wait to watch this one grow and settle into the landscape. Checkout the video to see the existing pond and the plunge pool in progress!

Bobby is Graduating from Stonebridge to join the Amateur-PGA

Many of you have met our wonderful pond builder, Bobby, this year. We are excited to share that he is graduating from pond building to be part of the amateur PGA!

You can see him here sneaking some golf time in during a maintenance visit. We should have seen this coming… 🙂

This isn’t the first time we’ve lost a great employee to a sport. One of our early Stonebridge employees left to be a professional bowler!

Our interviews now include the question “do you have any interest in pursuing sports?”

We hope our new hire is being honest about his lack of sports interest!

We’re wishing all the best to Bobby on his new golfing adventure. He’s been a wonderful part of Stonebridge and we’re sure he’ll do great.
